2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect: your email address and an encrypted password if you create an account; the data you voluntarily enter into the tools (simulated portfolio, alerts, preferences); and technical browsing data (device type, browser) needed for the Site to function properly.

Most calculators (BMI, calories, hydration, Pomodoro, compound interest, etc.) run entirely in your browser: the values you enter stay stored locally (localStorage) and are not sent to our servers, unless you are signed in and explicitly enable syncing.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is used to: provide and improve the Site's features, manage your account and authenticate you, secure the Site against fraudulent use, and respond to your contact requests. We do not use your data for advertising purposes and do not display any third-party advertising on the Site.

4. Legal basis

Processing of your data relies, depending on the case, on performance of the contract between us (providing the service once you create an account), your consent (for example for certain non-essential cookies), or our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the Site.

5. Cookies and local storage

The Site uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember your preferences (light/dark theme, tool settings, sign-in session) and a technical cookie strictly necessary for authentication where applicable. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for commercial tracking purposes.

Your data is never sold or rented to third parties. It may be processed by our hosting and database processor (Supabase) strictly for the purpose of providing the service, under appropriate contractual safeguards, and may be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law.

Account data is retained as long as your account is active, and deleted within a reasonable period after account closure, unless a longer legal retention period applies. Data entered into the tools without an account remains solely on your device, under your control.

8. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, as well as a right to object. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@maestrodia.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (password encryption, secure HTTPS connections, access control) to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
